Fort Mcmurray Zoom Boom Ticket - Zoom Boom Training is intended to train operators on variable reach forklifts. The goals of the training are to be able to impart an understanding of the physics of the machine, and to be able to outline the operator's tasks. This program follows North American safety standards for lift trucks. Zoom boom training and certification is available at our site or at the company's location, provided there are a few trainees. Certification given upon successfully finishing it is good for three years.
A telescopic handler (also known as a telehandler) is similar in some ways to both a forklift and a crane. It is a helpful machine made together with a telescopic boom which can extend forwards and lift upwards. Different attachments could be fitted on the end of the boom, such as bucket, pallet forks, muck grab or lift table. It is popular in agriculture and industry settings.
The telehandler is a common used along with fork attachments to be able to enable the transporting of loads. Telehandlers have the advantage of being able to reach those inaccessible places which can't be reached by a common forklift. Telehandlers are capable of removing loads which are palletized from within a trailer and putting them on places that are high like for example rooftops. For some applications, they can be much more practical and efficient compared to a crane.
When lifting heavy loads, the telehandler can experience some unsteadiness. When the boom is extended too far with a load, the machine will become more unstable. Counterweights in the rear help, but don't solve the problem. When the working radius increases, the lifting capacity quickly decreases. Several equipment come together with front outriggers that extend the lifting capacity while the equipment is stationary.
