Boom Lifts

Boom Lifts

Boom Lifts are a table lift machine which can be raised or lowered to varying heights, making this equipment a practical tool for certain manufacturing applications. There are some different kinds of Boom Lift consisting of knuckle booms, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts, each operating in a different way.

The familiar aerial lift adaptation is often utilized at snowboarding lodges to carry people who are not comfortable with the skiing lift. Effective in a manner similar to that of an elevator, snowboarders are transported up the mountain gradually, stopping at stations along the way until they access the summit. Aerial lifts are also utilized in construction, transporting personnel safely up and down the sides of multi-level construction sites.

Scissor hoists are quite often used by utility companies as the best way to securely enable personnel to fix and work on cables and wires attached to poles. Telephone, cable television and power providers have relied on the effectiveness of this type of boom jack for years.

The knuckle boom lift is made for use within locations of uneven terrain and where the need to change direction could be required. This kind of boom jack has the capability to fit in tight spots where a scissor jack cannot fit. Working amid multiple machines in a manufacturing facility or in close proximity between two walls, the knuckle boom also features a standard table fitted with rails for protection and worker safety.

The variety of boom jack required by firms will usually depend on the nature of the job needed. Luckily, there are suitable designs for nearly any job.
